The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV brings the story arc to an end. Find out everything you need to know before playing.
The climactic story arc ending comes in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV. Everything is on the line, with every member of Thors’ Military Academy Class VII being the only heroes to stand in the way of impending doom.
A lot has happened in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel arc, but players will finish the story arc. JRPG Developer Nihon Falcom began the Trails of Cold Steel story in 2013 in Japan and released translated versions of the series later.
The Story So Far
Weeks after the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, Rean Schwarzer has been captured by his father, Chancellor Giliath Osbourne. Trapped in an unknown place, Rean can only hope that his students carry on his mission to save everyone from the wrath of Erebonia.
Erebonia and its Chancellor Osbourne are on a mission to conquer the entire continent, one civilization at a time. They are ready for their final attack. Operation Jormungandr is set to end the war and place Erebonia and Osbourne as the new world order.
Thors’ Military Academy, the school in which Rean taught, is home to some of the world’s greatest heroes. Rean’s Class VII embarks on a mission to save their instructor and stop the invasion. Along the way, the heroes will find past Class VII members and include them in the roster.
While Class VII searches for Rean and tries to stop the Erebonian invasion, a prophecy has been told in the Black Records. These ancient books have been around for generations, and they are filled with tales of the past and future. The Black Records have predicted a catastrophic event for the Imperial City, but the details remain a mystery.
